You’re then given a procedure on how to purchase the said bundles depending on who’s selling. Well before you buy those bundles, I would advice you guys to google the difference between (MBs and mbs). This data bundles are not fake neither is it a con. It’s all legit. The only thing happening is that someone is taking advantage of your lack of knowledge and this is why I’m sharing this piece of info to save you my good people from the excitement that this deals seem to be shooting your way. One thing that often gives people confusion is the difference between a Megabyte (used for file size) and a Megabit (used for download speeds).
People often assume that a download speed of 1 Megabit per second (1 Mbps) will allow them to download a 1 Megabyte file in one second. This is not the case, a Megabit is 1/8 as big as a Megabyte, meaning that to download a 1MB file in 1 second you would need a connection of 8Mbps. The difference between a Gigabyte (GB) and a Gigabit (Gb) is the same, with a Gigabyte being 8 times larger than a Gigabit. What you don’t knw is that they(service providers) know you don’t know the difference so they will sell you data bundles worth 100mbs of downloads rather than 100MB worth of downloads.
Thats why when you have 8mbs and you download a file of around 4MB you’ll get a notification for your data bundles.
There’s a conversion system that you are not aware of. I’m sure you’ve all experienced that you think you have MBs(but you actually have mbs) and then you get that dreaded notification of your bundles being below 2mbs right? From where I’m standing it’s a ripoff.
I would rather purchase an unlimited offer than purchase the mbs/gbs.Actually, on a critical point of view, mbs are a service but MBs are products.On a more critical point of view, if you have 1MB the service provider gives you 8Mbs worth of service.
If you buy 100Mbs, you get 12.5MBs worth of downloads. And on an even more critical point of view, when you purchase mbs don’t lie to yourself that you’re on 3G network. Your speed per second is limited. Yes your phone will show that the 3G network is available but you can’t use it if you’re operating with mbs. Service providers are out here to make profits so don’t expect them to share this kind of knowledge with you. This millions are made from people who aren’t informed. Wise words from Stoned Sinner.
